Jen Layton is a rare Raleigh native, born and raised. An avid Tar Heel fan, she graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor’s in Journalism/Advertising and a minor in Screenwriting. Since graduating, she has spent more than seven years working in the advertising and internet marketing field, with extensive experience in blogging, search engine optimization and social media marketing. She joins the Greenroom team as a Social Media Manager, where her creativity, humor, and attention to detail are a great asset.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, and volunteering at the Wake County SPCA. She really loves dogs. Seriously, don’t get her started talking about dogs. Or dog adoption. Or dog training. Or her crazy dogs, Hanley and Jax…she won’t stop.
