With an oil painter for a mother and a photographer for a father, Ann Whitehurst never had a chance of becoming anything but a creative type. Today, she’s an award-winning writer and creative director who has spent the last 15 years telling stories for global and local brands through written, digital and video content, and global live events.
From an interactive infographic starring beavers with walkie-talkies, to a video series that put three Fortune-100 executives in waders and safari gear (in North Carolina, in July) — Ann has a knack for making things a little bit more fun. In fact, she’s won numerous awards for making things like data analytics and colonoscopy easier to discuss. And along the way she’s been lucky enough to work with some of the smartest and most creative people in the industry.
Away from work, Ann volunteers for multiple nonprofit organizations and sings in the car. A lot. She spends as much time as possible with her husband, two kids and rescued mutt.
